Different from solid EPDM rubber sheet, our EPDM sponge rubber sheet has a foamed porous structure. Closed-cell type features isolated air bubbles, low water absorption, great waterproof performance and good compression recovery, perfect for waterproof sealing. Open-cell version has interconnected pores, offering better sound absorption and air permeability, ideal for sound insulation and ventilation cushioning. Both cell types stay soft and flexible. They can compress tightly against uneven surfaces and bounce back steadily after repeated compression, forming tight seals. The sheet can be easily die-cut, punched or trimmed into custom gaskets and pads.
